REMEMBRANCE  DAY

 

I’m proud that I am English

So glad that I am free

To do and say just what I like

To really just be me

 

I’m proud to be defending

Magnificent Mousehold Heath

All life that thrives upon it

As well as whats beneath

 

It’s a really tiny portion

Of Englands natural beauty

But so worthy of protection

I feel that it’s my duty

 

For millions went before us

Many fought and made a stand

They died so we could cherish

Our green and pleasant land

 

So defend our earth

Defend our heath

Then we’ll have something

To bequeath………
